Imagine combining basketball, football, baseball and every sport we have in the US into only one sport. Imagine our country, with all it's passsion for sports, focused on only one sport. Imagine that and you see what soccer means to the rest of the world. Soccer is huge.

Now imagine a new soccer field, a real field in a part of the world that hasn't had one before. Imagine a FUNDaFIELD tournament to open the new field. Thousands of people come out to watch the local youths compete. Players are thrilled to receive new unfiroms and compete for tournament prizes like medals, cash, or the prize goat! Music plays all day and the community sings and dances along. People meet people from neighboring villages, they talk, business opportunities develop. Mothers and fathers cheer for their kids, dancing around when a goal is scored. The excitement is everywhere and on every face you see. At the end of the day, it's hard to tell if it was a soccer tournaments or a giant party.
